![]() ![]() The thrusters are nearly useless, even if the Jump Jet Upgrade is equipped). The Sea Dragon Leviathan is also capable of picking up the Prawn Suit.Īlternatively, the PRAWN Suit can be used on land for exploration of dangerous areas (keep in mind that the PRAWN Suit is not as mobile on land. ![]() Unlike the Seamoth, however, it is heavily armored and can endure most things that would otherwise severely damage or destroy a Seamoth, such as a Reaper Leviathan's grip. The PRAWN Suit has a health meter, and reaching zero will cause the vehicle to malfunction catastrophically and explode. ![]() Just like the other vehicles, the Prawn Suit cannot move or function until one charged Power Cell is put on one of the sockets near the back. Unless the power supply is depleted, the player's Oxygen tank will be replenished upon entering, as is the case with the Seamoth and the Cyclops. However, due to its limited mobility in the vertical dimension, it may be wise to use a Cyclops as a transport, as certain biomes such as the Blood Kelp Zone or Underwater Islands may be difficult for it to get out of on its own. It has a base crush depth of 900 meters and can be upgraded to withstand a maximum depth of 1,700 meters, making it one of the most useful deep-sea exploration vehicles (second only to the Cyclops). The PRAWN Suit can be used to explore places that are too deep for the Seamoth and too small for the Cyclops. While many smaller arm fragments (each counting 5% towards unlocking the blueprint) can be found among various wrecks, there aren't enough arm or suit fragments outside of the Aurora to fully unlock the blueprint. Four wrecked PRAWN Suits can be found in the Aurora's vehicle bay, each of which account for a quarter of the blueprint. The PRAWN Suit also comes with its own beacon, similar to the Cyclops and the Seamoth.īefore the PRAWN Suit can be constructed, its fragments must be scanned. Lateral movement is provided by mechanical legs that propel the vehicle along the ground at a top speed of 14 Mph (24 kph), and a pair of boosters on the back of the vehicle provide vertical thrust. When not in use outside of water, the vehicle assumes a seated position. A plasteel-reinforced canopy of enameled glass protects the single occupant, and dexterity is provided by hydraulic limbs that are capable of striking with enough force to crush bone and pulverize rock. PRAWN Suit Mk.III) is a bipedal mechanical walker, designed for use in extreme-pressure and zero-gravity environments. Means the world to me! More updates and new sets still to come. The Pressure Reactive Armored Waterproof Nano Suit Mk.III (abbv. Thanks for all your amazing support on this set as well as all my other Subnautica sets. There you can compare the old and new versions! I also included a few images showing the progression of my designs, for the PRAWN Suit and the Reaper Leviathan specifically. A new background color for the images, as the previous color was much too bright.Ħ. But the two highlights of the set - the PRAWN Suit and the Reaper Leviathan - are new and improved.ĥ. I was happy with how the terrain and wreckage pieces turned out, as well as the Sand Shark, so those pieces remain the same (with the exception of the colors, which I changed from metallic to solid colors). The suit looks much more to scale and faithful to the suit in the game, and I also added many more details to the interior of the suit. Thanks to many of your suggestions, I finally updated the design of the PRAWN Suit! Many of you complained that the top was too bulky and I totally agreed, so I completely redesigned the upper part of the exosuit and updated the color scheme. I tried to change that to the color Aqua in Lego Digital Designer, but encountered a bug when rendering it: Bluerender didn't recognize the color Aqua and rendered it black instead. A few people were asking about why I chose white as a color for the Reaper, which in the game is slightly blue. ![]() Also, I changed the eyes from green to black (in the game and concept art, I have seen Reapers with green eyes and black eyes) but I thought black would look more menacing. Completely re-did the design of the Reaper Leviathan: it is now slightly smaller, sleeker, with better posability as well as a completely redesigned head (with more teeth!) and a darker red color scheme. In celebration of this set being chosen as a Staff Pick, I decided to give this set a bit of an overhaul! This was the very first set I submitted to Lego Ideas and it seems only fitting that it gets a shiny new upgrade.ġ. ![]()
